The Author did such a wonderful job bringing me into the story! I loved all the color and texture in this story, Juniper Ridge, their homes, the forest, I felt like I was right there with Adam, Jesse, and Sven! I really loved this book and cannot wait for the next one!
I have read many sci-fi and apocalyptic novels over the years and I always enjoy finding a new one. This book has many key elements I enjoyed making it hard to put down. I was quickly captivated by this book reading the first 100 pages in a single night. I feel this book was a highlight of the books I've read and would recommend to anyone looking for a new sci-fi mystery!!
As a lover of Science Fiction I have come to appreciate authors who are capable of successfully creating a whole new world out of their imaginings. The world is a dystopian one, filled with creatures, humans included, who have been transformed into things of horror. A trio of intrepid "DNA" researchers are dedicated to finding a solution to this intractable problem while battling corporate rivals in their own ranks. Strap in and prepare yourself for a good read.
